Mission Statement

I’ve got a single focus … it's all about Jesus! He died for us, He loves us and He’s the only name under Heaven by which man can be saved!

I work in three main areas of evangelistic ministry:

  1. Preaching the gospel at every opportunity (mainly at Sunday services, midweek groups, outreach events, as well as online).

  2. Training and equipping Christians to share their faith through their everyday lives (we provide a free 6-week evangelism training course for Churches called 'Enable').

  3. Making Christ centred evangelistic media and talking online with people who are exploring faith in Jesus.

Coming from a non-Christian background myself I feel like I have an understanding of some of the types of questions, objections and concerns that non-Christians have around exploring faith and I believe that through prayer, Christ centred Bible teaching and compassionate engagement with non-Christians, the Lord can use this ministry to win many souls to His Kingdom.

I’m not keen on Christian jargon, denominational squabbles, or getting drawn into discussions on secondary doctrines … I just want to preach Jesus Christ to this needy world.

Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ crucified!

Core Beliefs

- God is Father, Son & Holy Spirit

God has eternally existed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

- Jesus Christ

Jesus lived a sinless human life (100% man, 100% God) and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice

for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. After three days, He rose from the grave to demonstrate

His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to reign as King.

- The Cross

Jesus voluntarily went to the cross to take the sins of the world upon Himself … that whoever places

their faith in Him and what He has done for them, shall not perish, but will inherit eternal life.

- The Gospel

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins … that He was raised from the dead and that

there is resurrection hope for all who believe.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to

the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

- Sin

Sin has corrupted every part of human life and the world in which we live. God hates sin, as it always

leads to death. Sin separates us from God and is the root cause of all of this world’s hurt and pain ... but

because of Jesus’ victory on the cross … the power of sin is broken and one day it will be a distant

memory and nothing more.

- Salvation

We can never make up for our sin through self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus

Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our

self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved.

- The Bible

The Bible is the perfect and inspired Word of God. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says:

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for

training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

- Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is coequal with God the Father & God the Son. He is present in the world to make people

aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives within every believer and provides Christians with power

for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right and good.

- People

People are made in the image of God, to be like Him. Although every person has tremendous potential

for good, all of us are born into an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." Sin separates us from

God and is the root cause of all of this world’s hurt and pain.

- Baptism

Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our

new life with Jesus. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the

example of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
